Gustavo Santaolalla: Longing (The Last of Us Part II) + TAB The Last of Us Volume 2: All Gone (Seasons) Medley | fingerstyle guitar + TAB The Last of Us Part II: Grieving (a variation) + TAB These songs are also from Gustavo Santaolalla's The Last of Us soundtracks. Left Behind (Together) Medley is an arrangement that includes The Path (A New Beginning) and Inextinguishable Flames. The sound is much more personal - like you're sitting in the room with me. This lo-fi technique has been popularized in the post-classical movement of music, e.g., Dustin O'Halloran, and Stephan Moccio. I'm allowing mic noise, and accidental room noises to enter and become a part of the recording. Everytime I play one of his pieces, I'm blown away by the elegance of the left-hand movement.Īlso, I'm having a continued renaissance in my recording technique. Gustavo Santaolalla picks low hanging fruit like no other guitarist/composer. It's emblematic of his ability to find small spaces, and set positive constraints on the guitar. Left Behind (Together) is a nifty, steel-string guitar piece by Gustavo Santaolalla from The Last of Us Volume 2.
